These general terms of sale apply to the acceptance of customers' vehicles after booking on www.parking-valet.ch. The temporary transfer of the vehicle is solely for parking purposes for the agreed rental period, until the vehicle is returned by the company to the customer.

Sending a reservation via the website www.parking-valet.ch constitutes a firm offer for the conclusion of a contract, which is effectively concluded upon the sending of a confirmation email. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the desired time. After this period, reservations can only be made by phone.
If the reservation is made by a third party, they will be jointly responsible, along with the actual customer, for all contractual obligations. Any complaints regarding this contractual relationship can only be made by the customer and may only be transferred to a third party with the express consent of www.parking-valet.ch.

3.1 Parking Service

3.1.1 For each reservation, www.parking-valet.chprovides the customer with a single parking ticket. The vehicle will be kept in a private parking lot, in a spot chosen by Parking-Valet, for the entire duration of the contract. The service includes the transfer of the vehicle by Parking-Valet to its secured parking as well as its return. The customer ensures that their vehicle is in a drivable condition for the entire duration of the contract. In case of technical problems, it is the customer's responsibility to take appropriate measures at their own expense. If Parking-Valet agents notice a fluid leak, Parking-Valet reserves the right to perform the necessary repairs at the customer's expense to resolve any issues. The customer acknowledges owing the amount of any potential repairs to Parking-Valet.

3.1.2 Opening hours are set by www.parking-valet.ch and announced on our website. Parking-Valet reserves the right to unilaterally modify these hours, provided it is adequately announced. Upon booking, the customer agrees to respect these opening hours and hand over and pick up their vehicle at the agreed times.

3.1.3 During the contract duration, the customer's vehicle is under the custody of www.parking-valet.ch. If the customer chooses to subscribe to our insurance (9.90 CHF excl. tax), then the vehicle is insured against theft, vandalism, floods, and fire, but not against hail. Parking-Valet declines any responsibility if the customer has chosen not to subscribe to our insurance option.

3.2 Additional Services:
www.parking-valet.ch offers various additional services: insurance, vehicle cleaning, and refueling, with the details and rates indicated on our homepage, under 'Our Rates'. If the customer opts for any of these services, they acknowledge owing Parking-Valet the price for these services.

4.1 Current rates are indicated on the homepage of www.parking-valet.ch, under 'Our Rates'. They are also recalled and confirmed during the booking request. Current rates are excl. tax.

4.2 The customer is required to pay for the chosen service on www.parking-valet.ch before the delivery of their vehicle. Payment is made at the time of booking, through credit card or Paypal account. Any extension or violation of the contractual parking period will be charged in accordance with the rates indicated on our website. In this case, the customer acknowledges owing www.parking-valet.ch the updated cost according to the new services.

4.3 Upon deposit and return of the vehicle, the www.parking-valet.ch collaborators will wait for the customer at the agreed time and for an additional maximum of 30 minutes. If the customer does not arrive within this period, a penalty of 20 CHF excl. tax will be applied to set up a second appointment for dropping off or picking up the vehicle, which must happen on the same day. If no new appointment is set, then the order will be canceled with no refund.

4.4 In accordance with applicable laws, www.parking-valet.ch has a right of retention and can, in case of payment default or problem with the credit card used at booking, refuse to return the vehicle to the customer. If necessary, Parking-Valet can engage in a realization procedure on the vehicle and its contents, in compliance with the Federal Act on Debt Collection and Bankruptcy.

www.parking-valet.choffer the possibility to cancel any reservation free of charge up to 7 days before its effective start. The operation can be done by email. It is also possible to cancel the reservation between 7 days and 24 hours before the agreed date if you have chosen to subscribe to our insurance (9.90 CHF excl. tax). It is impossible to cancel the reservation less than 24 hours before the agreed date.
The Client has the possibility to modify, at no additional cost, the time and date of vehicle pickup or return up to six hours before the agreed time, using a hyperlink sent for this purpose in the confirmation email. Such an operation can also be done by SMS, email, and phone with an additional fee indicated in the current rate, which will be charged to the credit card used for the reservation. Parking-Valet can be reached by phone during its opening hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

6.1 As an agent, parking-valet.ch commits to doing its best to fulfill its mandate with all required diligence to satisfy the customer in compliance with these general terms.

6.2 Any possible claim regarding the state of the vehicle must be made by the customer at the time the vehicle is returned. If the customer chooses to subscribe to Parking-Valet insurance, an inspection is conducted at pickup and return to facilitate the process. This inspection does not take into account possible scratches or micro-scratches, for which parking-valet.ch assumes no responsibility. Likewise, parking-valet.ch assumes no responsibility for the interior parts of the cabin (plastic covers, carpets, handles) where any damages might be noted.

6.3 As an agent, parking-valet.ch assumes responsibility only in case of proven gross negligence, whether concerning material, bodily, or moral damages caused to the vehicle or the customer, or in case of delays in return. Any claim must be notified to Parking-Valet before the vehicle leaves its return point. Under Parking-Valet’s responsibility, the vehicle is insured against theft, vandalism, floods, fire, but not against hail. Parking-Valet cannot be held responsible for what is beyond its reasonable control.

6.4 If the customer chooses to subscribe to Parking-Valet insurance, then the vehicle is insured during the entire period it is in the possession of parking-valet.ch, especially for damages resulting from any collision. Our insurance will cover the risks of vandalism, vehicle theft, flood, and accident. However, Parking-Valet assumes no responsibility for technical issues (engine failure, gearbox, radio, or any other technical malfunction). Likewise, our insurance covers vehicle theft risks, but its content (papers, any objects) remains your responsibility.

6.5 www.parking-valet.ch is authorized to return the vehicle to the person in possession of the vehicle pickup email. To guarantee vehicle safety, Parking-Valet can only return it upon the presentation of appropriate identification. Parking-Valet is not responsible in case of loss or theft of the vehicle pickup email, particularly if it is presented by a third party using it fraudulently to obtain the vehicle’s return.

6.6 In case of loss of the vehicle keys by parking-valet.ch, we commit to providing the customer with a vehicle to return home. We will arrange to collect the spare key from the customer in due time to proceed with the vehicle’s return. Parking-Valet will cover the expenses for a replacement key.

The customer is contractually committed to hand over the vehicle keys when they are handed over to www.parking-valet.ch, and the vehicle is returned to the customer.

8.1. Personal data provided by the customer to www.parking-valet.ch, notably during reservation, is used exclusively to ensure the execution of contractual services and cannot be disclosed to any third party.

8.2. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions must be notified in writing. Any unfair or unequal change is prohibited.

8.3. The contractual relationships between the customer and www.parking-valet.ch are exclusively subject to Swiss law. The exclusive jurisdiction is Geneva.

Additionally, if you provide us with your email address but fail to complete your reservation, we will temporarily retain this address, and in any case, for a maximum period of fifteen (15) months.

The collection and processing of your personal data are primarily based on the contractual relationship you have with us.
When we send you our newsletters or use your email address to contact you personally or recognize you when you revisit our website, this is based on our legitimate interest in providing you with our services.
